I did search and found no clear answers.

Will a s14 transmission bolt up to an older 240? Has anyone done it? I will be getting a 240 soon, an older one and can get my hands on a lower mileage s14 transmission just need to know if they will bolt up or if i should just get an s13 one and say forget it.

Perfect! Thanks so much, just didn't want to waste alot of time and money. Is there any fabricating involved? If so how much? I can't thank you again enough for sharing the precious information

There is no fabrication involved. You will need the inhibitor switch from the s14.However use the manual control linkage from the s13.You'll wanna switch that over b4 bolting the tran. back up in there, TRUST ME. lolAnd nevermind the sensor on the rim of the s14, its in a pic here:http://www.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=78246

Hey Chandler, maybe you could give us your rundown as I'm still troubleshooting mine...

it takes some revving to get the car moving slow http://www.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=96656
