im bout to get a new transmission for my car with a 95 black top sr20det. i was wondering if there is any other transmission or after market transmission i can get to improve my performance or is there only the stock transmission.

What is up with all the 240SX posts in the Z section lately? Is a link busted somewhere or something? Or are there really that many people who can't read?

any ka transmission with sr bellhousing will work.

as for aftermarket, OS Giken makes a gear kit for the ka transmission that simply beefs up the gears and gives a taller 5th gear. The cost though is not worth it IMO.~Sam
