S14 transmission harness

I will be starting my 5 speed & fresh KA24DE swap tomarrow. I bought the complete 5 speed swap, minus the transmission harness & interior trim w/boot for $350.00. Is there anyway that I could solder the wires to the plugs/connectors. Is it possible that a S13 transmission harness will work. S14 are very rare to find in a junkyard around me, even harder to find a 5 speed in a yard.

I would try to find the harness or at least the plugs from it, and solder those inline. Since you will likely have to replace the switches eventually. I've replaced all of mine except the neutral position sensor. it's nice when you go to replace them if they just unplug and re-plug the new one back in.
