So I recently bought a s14 200sx with a s15 front end conversion.

I had to swap the bonnet to a oem one to remove defects from my car.

However now I'm having issues with the bonnet latch locking the bonnet down.

As far as I can see it's been done using the s14 core support and the latch and hinges are s14a aswell

Please someone help

Hmm, I thought the S14 and S15 had the same center latch location, but different hinge sizes. Maybe you need those, since you're switching hood (bonnet) types. Does the trailing edge (nearest windshield) line up with the A-pillars/ fenders?

Just curious, what defects did you remove and why? Was it a vented aftermarket hood maybe? An S14 hood won't look proper on S15 lights and fenders. Why aren't you using an OEM S15 hood?

Anyway, maybe you can put some tape on both the top latch and bottom bar thing, then mark the bar tape with some wet paint, close it and see where it hits the top taped area to see if you can just tweak what you have a bit.

Same center latch, you'll need to readjust the position of it in order to use the new hood. It'll essentially just take a bit of playing with the hood and the latch in order to find the sweet spot.
