S14 to S15 Conversion

Okay Okay, I know this has been discussed time and time again.. So I am sorry for being a scrub. My understanding is there are no real "special" items you must buy to convert to s15 front end.. You can simply buy the s15 fenders, front bumper, hood, and headlights.. Correct? I know without the core support the headlights need extra modification but do the fenders and bumper bolt into the existing spots? or should I just go with the "conversion sets" for sale online? I would like to buy my stuff in peices rather than a combo so I can get the things I want rather than replacing later on. Any help I would appreciate, and for the ones who want to flame me, go ahead I see it coming.
