recently bought a 92 coupe s13 shell that previously had an sr20 in it.
I've read many write ups on the wiring for the swap but where is it actually located? I'm under the assumption its just a single terminal that needs to be converted where body harness meets engine harness.
is this the terminal on the right side under the dash?
also whats the easiest option for putting this s14 ka in? car was originally dual cam so i assume the wiring will just be matching colors, but i hear you have to use s13 intake and exhaust. can i use my internal s14 distributer? and what about mounting locations? the engine and trans was pulled with the s14 trans cross bar.
i got the ecu too but the wiring harness is shot. should i just get another s14 harness or is there a special made one for this swap? theres also still the z32 fuel filter and 255 walborro pump left over from the sr swap, will that work on the ka? I'm just trying to run this ka for the next 4 or 6 months till i can finish an sr build to put back in so the cheaper easier the better it aint gotta be pretty its just gotta work lol
and any parts that will work both with the ka and sr please lmk so I'm to buying parts twice! for example I'm thinking i can run the sr radiator with the ka i hear hoses are just different but i can pick up custom hose from a local store so... sorry for all the noobishness, i usually do european so this is a learning curve for me. thanks
