I seem to have trouble finding aftermarket cams for my '93 240sx, I can find tons for SOHC and for S14's, and I would like to know if performance cams made fo a S14 (95+) will easily fit into my '93?

I would also like to know if other things, such as headers, turbo kits, and intake manifolds will also be interchangable? I thought that the both have the same engine, but I guess not since the have designated parts for both.

All DOHC parts are interchangeable. Cams, intake, header, pulleys, flywheel, anything engine-related. Chassis parts like exhaust won't work. S14s have 'softer' cams, so that's the difference in availability.

The best cams on the dohc motor are from the 91 year. They got milder as the years went on. The exhaust cam is hotter than the intake, it has longer duration and higher lift. I don't know if they are interchangeable,( when i looked at my timing chain a month ago, the cams looked about the same. If you can swap them, then 2 exhaust cams from a 91 will do nicely. If not, then a company in canada called Shadbolt cams will do a regrind of your old cams for about $150 a piece. They have a website, but not much on it. You have to e-mail them. It's http://www.shadboltcams.com

That is NOT correct. All 91-early 93 cams are exactly the same. Later 93s without the secondary butterflies were changed.

THANKS for the correction. Are the intake and exhaust cams interchangeable? The timing mark would be in a different place, but with a little effort, it could still be set right.

Yes, you can eyeball it and get real close, use JWT adjustable cam gears for exact settings.
