hey chet...you mentioned this in one of your posts'. this is regardless of wheel width correct? i was planning on a 17x8 all around (or possibly 8" for front & 9" for rear). looking at the rays/volk wheel line which have lots of different wheel offsets...would you recomend going with two different offsets (one for front and one for rear)? for example...an offset of 25 for the front (4mm closer) and an offset of 30 for the rear (9mm closer)?

yes, two different offsets, due to a few things:-more clearance of suspension peices in the rear-keeping the wheel/tire flush with the fender

a 17x8 in a 25-27mm front and a 9" 30mm or so in the rear would work great...maybe even 32mm rear offset or so...

-chetif you ahve coilvoers, run the lower of the offsets. in the rear you have more le-way with them..

thanks for the quick response chet! :D

just so i don't get confused though...

if i go 17x8 all around:go with an offset of 25-27mm for the front (4-6mm closer)go with an offset of 30-32mm for the rear (9-11mm closer)

if i go with a staggered setup of 17x8-front & 17x9-rear:go with an offset of 25-27mm for the front (4-6mm closer)go with an offset of 20mm or less? (12mm closer)-->for the rear, could i get away with a 22mm offset (14mm closer)

no, if you run a 17x8 all around, keep the offset the same. if you run the wider wheel in the rear, you can use a more positive offset to keep it flush with the fender, because you have more room before rubbing on the suspension.

17x8 25mm17x9 30-32mm
