So I am wondering what's the max efficiency for a S14 T28 on a CA18DET? Also is it only the S15 T28 thats a BB? Or are some S14's BB, I want to go to something bigger but with out a lot of lag. Disco potato is a option but I dont want to dish out $1000 for a new one lol.

max effiencey as in the peak numbers you can see? or what it does to the RPM band?

IIRC the S14 turbos... some are and some arent BB, but dont quote me on that.

you want to go bigger w/o alot of lag? what are you upgrading form? an SR T25 is more than enough on a stock engine.....

stock CA T25. Maybe a GT28R would be what I need.

all s14 sr20 turbos are journal bearing.

s14 t28 max psi i would say would be about 16psi maybe 17.

gt28r is good for about 280-300hp

depending on what you want out of you CA gt28r is a good choice.

efficient at about 17-18psi max. can go more but not really needed.
