hi i have an s14 and i have been going for days to see what swap to do for it. i know for sure i dont want a 4 banger in the car and i have been looking over and over again between ls1 and rb25det. but while searching i found people putting a 2jz into their 240sx and i like the idea for it having bigger displacement then and rb in stock form and im sure it last just as long or longer then an rb in stock form also. so my question is what do i need and where can i get it in turns of parts for the 2jzgte swap into my 95 240 sx autotragic :picard: i already found the mount kit for the swap but i don't know where to get the drive shaft or what radiator would fit with fans and anything else any of you can think of would be greatly appreciated. so again if you can give me website or if you have done the swap what you did im only looking to make it a daily for now till i come back from the air force so again please let me know and thanks again

ill do it for free, labor that is, mail me the title to your car and ill get a parts list sent out to you by cross referencing everything via the VIN. Honestly i dont see it costing you any more than 10000, but no less than 6000 as i wont put my name behind it if its half-a$$ed. My mailng address is 123 sellyourcar ln. GTFO, USA.

Why the need for douchebaggery?

The swap has been done many times, so there is a bunch of info available. Use the search button to search this site for info. I'm not sure what kind of radiator you'd get. The driveshaft would have to be custom. Driveshaft shop etc will make one for you if you send in your specs, contact them. You'll also need a wire harness, check if Wiring Specialties offers one, not sure if they do, but they're a sponsor on this site.

I'm not too familiar with the swap, but what I've said I know you'll need. Since you're A/T you're going to need an M/T pedal for the s14.

Of course, if you want to decimate all, you'll need to put about 15 grand in it or more, maybe overnight some parts from japan...(you knew it was coming)

No but seriously, its not a cheap swap, you're going to need $$$$. Do all the research you can before jumping into it, again, search NICO, there are tons of answers to be found already without even asking.

Good luck, keep us updated!

The cost of that swap would out weight the benefit. You can get a lighter, faster, and more reliable SR20 for halph the price. Sure J motors are amazing.. but there expensive. Theres really no benefit to that swap if you ask me.

God people... how do you know he dont have the money... If he wants to do a 2jz swap let him. (idk why he is against 4 bangers) but let him do him, and you do you! Yea the 2jz swap is VERY expensive, but he didnt say anything about a budget, and he obviously knows what he wants! 2FoetySx... How would the swap out weigh the benefit... its a very good swap, makes great power, and not many people do it. It would defedently be unique. It would be nice to see someone do a engine swap other than a SR! SR's are like a$$ holes, Everyones got one! Also... HONDAS!

you dont have an sr^.... just saying

but the swap isnt only going to be pricey, its also going to take alot of time and alot of effort... not as simple as a sr swap or KA-T...

but the op should do it if he has the means and is up to the mechanical challenge... they are great platforms for stupid power..

What he saying is, apparently you don't have an ***hole, nor do you want one.

in reference to cost/weight and compatibility... it just smarter to go with an sr... youll get more for your money... again... in my opinion.
