S14 Swap WONT START

I recently finished swapping a s14 sr20det into my 95 240sx but now it wont start. I have everything hooked up and in the past 2 days its started 3 times (out of about 100 attempts) but only with my foot on the gas and once i took my foot off the pedal it would immediately die. also when it was running it would smoke like crazy out of the exhaust. besides those three times that i did get it to start, its only been cranking over but wont run. also when it was running it wouldnt let me get above 4000 rpm. any suggestions on what might be causing this?

check and see if there is gas getting into your oil. check for leaking injectors, you may have bad rings do a compression check.
