S14 swap a 89 240.. Need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have some question, i bought my 89 s13. with a broken timing chain, but looks like there is more then just that.I have someone selling me a s14 (98) engine, with ecu, wireharness. and all sensor. First off can i use my stock transmission?What would i need to make this work in my 89 s13. is there a wiring diagram to what needs to be connected too.

Yes you can use stock transmission... wiring harness and ecu just gets replaced.. thats all

like he said the transmission will bolt up. i have a 98 motor in my 93. the only thing i had to use from my 93 motor was the intake and the exhaust. but seeing that you have an 89 the sohc ecu and intakes are not the same.

wouldn't he have to convert to OBD 2?

i'm sorry.. how long have you been on the site for? His post already mentioned that its harness and ecu that he's getting as well as sensors.. so umm.. last time i checked thats uhh OD2.. lol sorry for giving you a hard time but just read the post better... and your right about your sig
