It's gonna be WAY more of a pain than it's worth, but anything is possible. The way the factory sunroof opening is stamped into the body is going to be a major challenge. Hopefully a couple people with gutted s14's could post some pics of the interior metal roof. I've never had the roofliner out of a non-sunroof s14, but I assume that it's not gonna be possible without a rediculous amount of time and effort for the factory sunroof to work...not to mention cash. Do you have a car to source all of the parts from? The s14 sunroofs suck too btw. The outer fiberglass retainer that surrounds the glass and holds the seal becomes brittle over time and breaks. They don't sell a new retainer so the option is to buy a new assembly at like $1500 CAD (give or take...it was like 5 yrs ago). and that's only for the glass. I've replaced mine with a really good used one that i got for $200 and it's doing the same thing a few years after.I really wish that somebody a carbon replacement that uses the factory seal. I would buy one FOR SURE! With so many carbon parts for the s14 this one just seems to make sense imo. You're gonna have to get a look at both interior roofs to really see what your up against.
