I need to replace the seal on my electric sunroof on my 95 S14. Will a seal from an S13 Sunroof fit? Are there any differences? Is there a difference between the electric sunroof glass size and the manual sunroof glass size? Tried to search. The new forum format kinda bites. I like the old forum better. Anybody? The reason I am asking is i can get a new S13 sunroof seal for the manual sunroof for about $40. A new seal for the S14 is about $105....... I am not made of money like some people and my money tree in the front yard got stolen........

It is the seal around the glass that seals against the roof. There is a 1 1/2 inch gap between the ends of the seal and water leaks into the car and all over my headliner......

Im not sure if the s14 power sunroof glass seal is interchangeable with the s13 power sunroof glass seal. But the s13 manual sunroof glass seal is different from s13 power sunroof glass seal. The manual seal is consisting of 5 parts. 1 in the middle, 2 for the hinges (which is part of the hinge), and 1 for the rest of the glass.

However, a sunroof has a drainage hose in case water gets through the seals. open your sunroof and look in the corners. you will see a metal tube. try blowing compressed air in it to clear it from clogging. In some cases, like mine, the hose that connects to these metal tubes get torn up due to age that water will leak through it to your headliner. remove your headliner to inspect these hoses. I replaced mine with a thicker hose which is more durable and way cheaper than oem. This will be a better temporary fix until you have enough money to buy a new seal.

oh and another thing, in the s13 these hoses drains to your rocker panels which causes rust to form. When I had my car repainted I undercoated the rocker panels and drilled holes to fit the end of the hose so water will drain outside. you should think of considering this if you're gonna change your drainage hose.

Thanks for the info. I will be taking everything apart this week sometime and checking everything out. I will definitely run the hoses to the outside. That just makes sense. Thanks again,
