okay so ive just installed a s14 SR20det, well a few months ago. not just installed, cause its been months trying to get it to start.

heres my problems.

Engine Turns over from starter, belts moving, all that jazz. im getting fuel, cause i undid my fuel line going into the block and fuel was spewing out, so the pump is working. i take my spark plug out and attach it to my coil pack. i touch the metal part of the coil pack in cylinder one to the block to ground it ( not sure if that makes a difference) and i turn it over and no spark.

Ive check- the wiring to the igniter tot he ECU its good.
-wiring from igniter to coil packs, its good.
-igniter, bought a second one, cause didnt know if mine was broken, both dont work.
- ive tried 2 difference sets of coil packs. no spark.
- i bought new spark plugs, nothing.

im running out of ways to check to get my freakin car to spark over. so ive come to you guys for helps. please!! thanks!!!

ohh and heres a video of what my car sounds like trying to start!!!

Well assuming that you have everything correctly installed and wired, here are my thoughts:

1.First verify that you are getting power (battery voltage) to the coil pack (possible colors - B/Y or White are power circuits).
2.Next Verify ignition module (ignitor) is pulsing the ground path on and off. Attach a test light to the positive battery terminal and probe the ground circuit for the coil's internal primary resistor (possible colors - R/L(blue), R/W, R or R/G). You will need to crank the engine and verify the test light flashes on and off repeatedly.
3.Recheck coil output by attaching a spark plug to the coil and placing the end of the spark plug against ground. Crank the engine and watch for spark output.
4.To verify fuel injectors are also pulsing, you will need to have a noid light or a LED bulb rigged to attach to the injector connector. Attach the noid/LED to the injector connector and crank the engine, looking for a repeated flash.

*Flash of the test light for the coil and noid/LED of the injector verifys that the ECU and correlating components are capable of controling fuel and spark. If both of those are ok there is a different issue. Other steps too long to list right now will need to be taken.

Hope this gets you somewhere. If you need more help e-mail me.
