ok im obviously new here and im looking into a 1995 S14 shell but it doesnt have the KA wiring harness anymore. my question is, do i need any of the KA harness to wire up a S14 SR20DET into this S14 shell? this may be a stupid post but whatever. thanks

not the whole harness. You'll need a couple of plugs, but thats it. If you have a junkyard around you then you could easily find the plug you need from anothr nissan. I had to use the siper amp plug(mine was cut off on the sr harness, Idk if youll need it) and I used a couple of plugs from the ka harness to replace the sr ones because they were broken.

So in short, no. You just might need a few plugs

That's what I recommend to everyone. 20 minutes of work installing it and knowing it's going to work is much better than hours of soldering and praying.

As I've told people before, out of all the money I've put under the hood of my S13, that was one of my cheapest investments, and still one of my favorites..
