s14 sr20det vtc problems

hey i have an s14 sr and it makes a ticking noise that sounds like its commin from the vtc part of the engine. i was wondering if ne one noes where i could get another one or explain to me how to upgrade the cams to get rid of it. money isnt a problem so just talk away thanks. i have searched and searched and never found ne thing very use full because of some one asks a question and just gets made fun of. thanks for helping.
