s14 sr20det problems after new injectors, maf and ecu

93 nissan 240sx with 95 model s14 sr2d0et

alright before the upgrade everything was smooth running. after i removed the factory 370cc injector and put in the 740cc injectors replaced the maf with a 300zx maf and installed the tuned ecu from enthalpy for the 740cc and 300z maf the car is running rough at idle and blowing a lot of black smoke, when you drive it the engine cuts at 3000rpm but in neutral it revs all the way. my initial thoughts are there is a problem with the maf because it is doing the same thing my ka did when i stuck a q45 maf on it without tuning the ecu. any suggestions would be helpful. the check engine light did come on and i am about to check it now.

well i replaced the fuel pump with the walbro i had lying around and it didnt help. so i swapped the old ecu back in and it runs like a charm. only a wee bit rich for my liking. im guessing the ecu is screwed.
