I heard from the guys at Enjuku that you have to use the compressor from the SR swap and BOTH sets of lines from the SR and the KA. You gotta take them to an A/C shop and get them put together or something like that.

I'm about to cross this obstacle myself. You may have to have custom lines fabbed up

I'm preparing to do this very soon, so hopefully I'll have a write-up on it. Anyway, these are the steps essentially:

1: Mount the A/C compressor, and condensor from the SR engine. Which should be fairly easy.

2: You will need the A/C lines from the SR and the KA. I forgot which goes where, but if you start putting things together you should figure it out, but the ends of the SR (or the KA) lines need to be cut off, and welded onto the other set of lines. Don't quote me on this, but I believe the KA line needs to have the SR connector welded on, then have it run to the compressor then from there you'd need the other KA line with an SR connector on it, run from the A/C system back to the car.

3: Go to a rad shop and get your system charged.

----

Theres a few wires to connect, but that should be the easy part. I'll try and make a decent walkthrough.

Yep, gotta take your lines to someone with a tig welder to get them fabbed up. Make sure you pre mark them where they need to be or take your car with you, that way they can get them right the first time.

Or, you can get complete lines from a LHD car in Europe and just bolt them right on and then go get it charged.

The wire connections are already there, the KA wires should work to kick the compressor on and off...

I've heard that you need to not "weld" the lines, but have them "brazed" or something. Some other kind of...welding. Not sure if it was super important or not, but I'll definatly be asking for that.

I believe the lines are aluminum, if so, they'll need to be tigged. They can be brazed, but brazing is an old art and it can be on the weaker side.

On the line that goes to the fire wall, do I have to keep that canister thing or can I cut the line before that?
