The only hard thing about it is the wiring and its not really any harder than S13 to S13, it just happens to be harder to find info on how to do it.
There are some minor things to remember like switching the speed sensors so that the speedo reads correctly. And the intercooler piping gets a little weird, I think you are supposed to locate S13 piping. S14 piping into an S13 can be a headache.
Here is a pic of the harness needed to put an S14 SR into an S13. My friend made it in about 40 minutes. With the S14 engine harness already on the engine and untouched this conversion harness is all that you would need to make it run right.
