Ok, I hope this isn't the typical "OMG MY SR WONT START SOMEONE HELP ME" thread. So the motor turns over, gets fuel but no spark. I've had the wiring harness serviced by Wiring Specialties, so I ruled that aspect out of the question. So I swapped to my new spark plugs, nothing. We tried another ignitor, nothing. Tried another cas and got nothing again. So, we checked the ecu to see if there was any codes, and there isn't one of those diagnostic screw things, and my ecu has a little sticker that says "decide 226". I'm thinking the ecu was tuned before maybe? I'm having trouble finding anyone to swap the ecu/coilpacks to see if mine are still good. Any ideas besides search noob?

Oh and to top it off, my daily driver Honda won't start due to a faulty fuel pump, so I have to drive a purple PT Cruiser around til I fix the Honda or the Nissan. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

You may want to at least do a decent look over of the harness. My buddy ordered a harness from Phase2 years back. Car only ran and idled for a couple secs. After problem solving for awhile we opened the harness and found a MAFS wire that was taped off that was supposed to be grounded. Or you could try to use a multimeter to see if the coils/igniter/ECU are powering properly.

Also yes the ECU does not have a malfunction indicator LED on the ECU, it usually flashes through the MIL light on the cluster.

Thanks a bunch. I just got off of the phone with Jeff at Heavy Throttle after asking about replacement ecu's and he's convinced that the problem is somewhere around the ignitor. He mentioned a multimeter that looks like a paperclip or something and sticking it into the ignitor harness or the ignitor itself. I'll try to post a picture up of my ignitor wiring and see if any of you see anything blatantly wrong with what I did.

Ok, i'm still not getting spark. When resting the plug on the intake manifold to ground it out, I see no spark at all. Is it safe to assume that I can rule out the timing? I did pull out the CAS to check it, but even if it was out of timing I would see a spark no matter what, right? Someone school me. I'm getting the coilpacks tested today but it is unlikely for all of them to be bad at the same time.

you would see spark through the plug even if the timing was off. like speed racer said, you need to check the power to the ignitor and cas.

Yeah I thought I would see spark anyways. I know i've got power to the ignitor, but i'll have to check the CAS.
