Im tearing apart my S14 SR to prep it from some goodies from enjuku, im sendiong the block to get acid washed and double checked.

The top of the block next to the cylinders is stamped 1-3-2-2. Im aware the firing order is 1-3-4-2. the top of the pistons is also samped in that incorect order of 1-3-2-2. I called the shop where i got the motor and he said that Sr's dont come stamped with firing orders and that was an owner at some point of time that stamped it that way.

the whole motor is stock, all OEM rods, pistons, etc. Is this just someones previous screw up or is something just wrong?

Those are Nissan's grading stamps, for matching OEM clearances.
It's all in the service manual.
