My car on cold start up has a knock ? When the car is warm its goes away why???

How long does the knock stay for?Could be a lack of oil pressure, or you could be misstaking the sound something else. Make sure it's not the common sound of the tinming chain hitting the upper guide

Stays on for the whole till it's warm.also thanks for the info
