Ok guys, im having some issues with my car. please help.
heres some specs.

S14 Blacktop *Kouki
Tomei 740cc injectors
Walboro 255 Fuel Pump
Nismo FPR
Power FC L-Jetro
300zx Maf
Isis Boost Controller

well first thing when i turn my car on in the mornings there is what i think is oil spraying from the exhaust not very heavily, more (like a mist) but i can see it on the driveway. then my major problem when im driving and going into boost im getting a hesitation only underboost and to me sounds like fuel cut mid through the power band. my vaccum reads anywhere from -19 to -22
when im on low boost 7psi the controller will read to about 4-5 psi
on high boost 13psi the controller will read up to 10psi but as i said i experience a lag midway through like if its pulling me back (again sounds like fuel cut), also while driving lets say im mid rpm in a gear and i throw the car into neutral to coast the car boggs down my rpm will drop to like 600 and feel like its going to turn off this also happens when brakes are applied... but my injectors are brand new and the car was tuned a month ago by G-dimensions in California but i will say i feel they have not done a good job on the tune. I have already checked for boost leaks on my Intercooler piping i re-tightened all my clamps so no problem there... Also I opened my oil cap on the valve cover today and im smelling fuel.

when I step on it and get into boost its around 12.5-13, when i let off throttle it'll rise to 16... and too add on to that ive searched around and some people say to gap the spark plugs, I have NGK iridiums im not sure which model or how hot they are I forgot, but they are pregapped and I did not gap them..
idk if that matters

You should ALWAYS check the gap. Everytime I have changed my plugs( Sr or other motors) they come pre-gapped and I have not had one time when the gap was correct. Plus with the mods you have the stock gap more than likely isn't going to be correct. Search around and see what gap others are running with similar mods.

Not saying its going to fix your issue but could help.

This assuming you have a Garrett T28.

i actually have to edit that, because i double checked my AFRS i have the AEM UEGO Wideband btw, its weird bro while im driving into boost its 13.X, and when i come to an idle it'll rise up to 18 and then the gauge reads --- its stays at --- on idle the red light is all the way to the bottom. What would cause my car to run so lean? as I mentioned before the injectors are brand new.. My FPR is set to 40psi.
Also does my BCU have any play in this?, the tuner never really was able to diagnose what was really wrong with my car he told me he thinks it might be my boost controller or wastegate... but Idk why that would effect the car at all especially since he "tuned" my car.

(MORPH) Ok will check the gap thanks for advice..

(Lobo240sx)
I do have the stock Garrett T28

** two more things i forgot to add to the list of problems im having, while im at idle i hear small popping kinda like little backfires and i can feel it through the brake pedal ...

Also when i turn on my car for the first time in the day and well most of the time that i start it, the idles jump up and down 800 - 1400 and it will idle like that for like 3mins

So I took a look at my Spark plugs today , I have the BKR7EIX
the pregaps on them were around .35-.36
I gapped them down to .29 car seems to be running a little better
still having same issues though but I notice I have the stuttering issue more when im on lower boost
7psi car seems to stutter more throughout powerband
where as if I have the controller set to 13psi
I can boost up to 10psi no problems but I have to controll gas pedal?
meaning not flooring the pedal to the ground, weird though if I give it too much on accelerator it starts to act up.

well if anyone can help I appreciate it,
thanks

I was told that car may be running lean because im using 740cc injectors on stock fuel rail?
any truth to that?

I've seen people run 810, 850cc's on a stock rail with no problems. Your tune is way off. It's dumping fuel then having to lean way out to compensate for the extra fuel.

sounds like a bad tune

as for the bogging down after putting it in neutral to coast, that could be due to an atmospheric BOV. i noticed with my open BOV, if i am accelerating, and i go straight to the clutch, it bogs down like it wants to die. however, if i go from accelerating to just letting my foot off the gas pedal for a second, and then put my foot on the clutch to put the transmission in neutral, that helped a lot.

I'm currently having this issue as well. Like a few of them said it could be spark plugs or the tune itself. The only thing is I'm running stock injectors and everything so that could also be my problem. The idling problem while coasting in neutral is also an issue I'm experiencing. When you figure out the problem 100% please do keep us informed. Thanks for the info though.
