im trying to complete my build on my S13. im putting an S14 SR20DE+T in it.

been ordering parts to get everything ready but ran into a big snag.

the clutch that came with the engine from japan was a roasted. i ordered a new one through a local shop specializing in japanese cars.. he also has alot of background with drifting and the sr20.

i want to get the clutch and transmission in before i drop the engine in. i got my clutch in today BUT the pressure plate wouldnt line up to the flywheel correctly. 1 of 2 things is messing me up..

either.. the shop sent me the wrong clutch.. or theres a difference between the turbo and non turbo.

Non-turbo clutch is way smaller, I think it might be the same size as the FWD SR. I'm not sure.

Save your self some trouble, and just buy a lightweight chromoly flywheel and whatever SR20DET clutch set you want, it'll hold boat loads more power than the tiny stock clutch.

oh fosho. thanks for the info.

ill just get a turbo flywheel and call it a day. i was ready to sell this motor to get a turbo S13 sr.

question on how your de+t setup runs compared to the det. i got a t25 and mani that i can put on when i get IC piping and an IC. just wanna know if there are things i gotta lookout for when i boost it.
