s14 sr20 vacuum hoses

Yes i've searched, but I cannot find any clear answers to where all of the vacuum hoses on a s14 sr20det are. All I have seen are s13 sr's. I am going to be running a blitz bov, and a boost gauge, but no boost controller at the moment.Also, I have a nipple on my coldpipe i'm thinking should be on the hotpipe maybe, and correct me if i'm wrong but I think the large tube on the coldpipe is for the factory recirc. valve?Any input on the subject (besides SEARCH YOU NOOB) would be much appreciated.

not exactly sure of how a s14 sr TB is set up but there should be atleast 2 vaccuum nipples on it and that is where you would run your boost gauge and bov to. The pipe coming off of the coldpipe is to connect to the hose that runs from your IACV. also the nipple on your coldpipe is for your wastegate but the closer the nipple for the wastegate to the turbo the better..should go on the hotpipe but none the less will work

sorry my answer wasnt good enough for you bro...the pipe on the coldpipe is for your iacv..a hose runs from your iacv to your coldpipe. the nipple on your coldpipe is for your wastegate..its better off on your hotpipe but none the less will still work on the coldside..and last ..how many nipples do you have on your tb? your bov and boost gauge runs there..does that not explain it good enough for you?

yes your answer is a good start. The aicv is the biggest one by the thottle body right? I only see two other lines that need to be connected. I only now need to know which ones are which. I really do appreciate your help, I was not trying to blow you off, but just looking to which nipples to use for what.

the iacv itself is located on the intake manifold..on the bottom of it..how many nipples are on your tb? and what do you mean lines? do you mean nipples? my best advice to you is to take the bov vac line and the boost gauge vac line and hook it up to the TB nipples and see if they work..i dont know why none of the s14 sr guys are chiming in..

The only 3 i have to hook up are in the first picture. The biggest one is the iacv, and the other two go to the wastegate and bov/boost gauge. Now all I need to know now is which one is for the bov/boost gauge and the wastegate.

well like i said the nipple on the coldpipe is for the wastegate..the nipples on the TB dont have to go to a certain part such as boost gauge or bov..they can both be used for either..try it out

Hey bro did you get your vacuum hoses figured out? i'm sort of running into the same problem as you, can you take a pic of your hoses for me if you have them running right?

It looks like you're missing the black plastic tube that runs across the front of the engine. I guess it's the recirc tube that runs off the intake.

That's the only thing I can see missing immediately right now, I'll check out my engine later today and take some pics for ya.

Are you talking about the large upper hose? becasue i have that but it's just blocked in the picture.

I dont think you need that black tube if you have a FMIC and running a non-recirculation BOV.

I have that same hole open on my intake. I don't know what it's for and it doesn't really seem like it connects to anything I guess. I was just gonna save some cash and get a aluminum one or just find something to close up that hole with. Hopefully someone will know what it's really for.

Hrmm.. I do have the same prob bro, let me take a pick of how my friend set mine up don't know if it right but yeah... will have to take later this after noon... OH yeah where is you BOV located on your PIPES???
