Post

Hi there people, I have a 95 240sx with a s14 sr20 in it and for months now have made no progress in starting it. I have done sooooo much searching online also. Problem is I cant seem to get the ecu started, no lights come on (or I dont really know where the lights suppose to come on at.)The starter just cranks when I try to start it. First I thought it might be a faulty ecu so I bought another Black WC ecu but no change. Everything seems to be wire fine. Relays all click and show continuity when tested. Here are some things I did to the F4 plugs other than repinning them.

-I hooked up black w/red stripe thick wire from sr20 ign. relay to pin #40 ign. sw. on f4 plug and also hooked up Power to injectors red w/blue stripe on f4 pin #48 to # 40 as well.
-on the f4 plug I grounded the 2 black wires on pin # 1 and 2 to where all of the ground wires where grounded near the side pannel of passenger seat.
Some things I might add
-my brother relocated the battery to the trunk, works well, interior lights come on and also brake lights.
-o2 sensor wires and z32 maf sensor wiring were extended. Dont know if a mistake in extending the wires can lead to any ecu failures?
-for the lower harness my brother cut of some plugs from the ka lower harness (the ones that plug into the side of the fuse box) and spliced that to the sr20 lower harness. There are 2 out of 3 plugs that are plugged in to the side of the fuse box but the top one is missing. What is that plug?
-I stuck some T pins in the ecu plug where the 2 black/white wires ecu power, (ecu pin # 59,49) are and hooked gator clip/multi meter to the T pins and got near 12v readings. I did the same for ecu pin #109 (ecu power, red wire) and got the same readings.

Some concerns I have is that with the ecu hooked up and F4 plug in place, when I turn the ignition to on position the fuel pump primes for 2 seconds and then I hear one of the relays click (fuel pump relay I think) and then the fuel pump stops priming. I have a walboro fp that works fine when you hard wire it. its suppose to continue whining loudly when ignition is turned to on position. I dont know how the fp is getting cut off or what is tripping the relay.

So yea, main issue is getting the ecu to work or turn on. If anyone has any bit of info, that would really help. Dont be afraid to chime in or anything. Any kind of help is appreciated but if there is anyone out there with sr20det swap experience please lend a brother a hand. Thank you.
