s14 sr20 into s13 chassis

i did the swap myself and got everything working great except one small problem, i started it up and i have no rpms or mph, there is one plug comeing off the harness with 8 wires and one attached to the motor. i tried plugin and playin with each wire but couldnt seem to get the tach to work what so ever . i then went and got an safc neo and hooked it up how it was suppose to and i still got no rpm on the safc. i would like some help trying to figure out how to get my stock tach in the car working.. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
