Alright I have a feeling this question has been asked before but I have been searching for awile now without the answer im looking for.

I am putting an s14 sr20 into my DOHC s13 and want to know what fmic setup I need to use. I have seen alot of people custom making there piping for this. I am trying to find out if there is a kit i can buy that will just bolt right up, and if not then what all will i need to custom make it?

don't know about any kits but if all else fails, put the motor in and piece some piping together.

check http://siliconeintakes.com/ they have a wide range of piping parts and u should be able 2 pretty much piece together anything from that site.

i have a s14 sr20det in my dohc s13. when ordered my fmic kit i ordered for s14 sr20. you obviously have to cut openings for the piping. but getting the s14 kit will make your life easier. when i put my piping together it fit perfectly. but get the s14 kit because the s13 sr20 intake sits a little different than the s14.

does the s14 intercooler fit in the s13 bumper the same, or did it require some fabrication compared to the s13 intercooler? and what kind of openings are we talking about cutting? I know you have to cut an opening through the battery tray...

piping does not matter but buy a good intercooler --- greddy and the like. you get what you pay for. I bought some ebay piping and while it is standard alum. pipe it had little holes around were it was wielded together. We had to have it re-welded in order it not to leak. So you do get what you pay for.

I use their radiator and it is quality stuff-- do not know about their intercooler
