Here is my s14 sr20. It is currently running but it wont run right. Im going to list all of the symptoms and what I have done/ replaced. Any insight would be helpful.

first off ALL of the turbo, elbow and exhaust gaskets have been replaced. I seafoamed the engine and could see that the exhaust mani, and where the turbo bolted together was leaking. That helped out with the idle but still isnt running right.

The plugs keep fouling

when the engine first starts it idles at 2000 then after reaching the normal engine temp it drops to 800

seems like it running RICH exhaust smells like gas and my gas mileage is terrible.

Also isnt FAST LOL

1) You are running RICH not LEAN2) Your idle could be due to the IACV (Idle Air Control valve)3) Plugs fouling are due to number 1 (See above to #1)4) Issue could be caused by bad MAF

Does it do anything else? How does it drive? Does it just fall on its face around 3000RPM?

Anymore information would be helpful on what/how the car is acting.

LOL. I ment rich I typed this fast when I was at work. But other than the boost giving it power it dosent rev very happy, and in one of my gears when im reving ( I forget which one) It does seem to fall flat. I tried a while ago to clean the Mass airflow sensor. Im wondering If its my 02 sensor? How would it run if I had a bad one???

O and the IACV has been taking out and been clean I did that before and replaced the gasket. Maybe adjusting the screw would help??

i would check all boosted piping and clamps. sounds like you running rich so you may have a boost leak somewere. im not sure what kindof fuel regulator the sr runs but if it is vacuum regulator make sure it is getting vacuum to it. if the plugs keep fouling you might need to go with a hotter rang plug. next time you change the plugs take it for a short drive like 5-10 mins then take them out and look at what condition they are in.

Yes adjusting the screw on the IACV will help. BTW, could you take a picture of it so I can see where it's at? I'm apparently blind on the location of mine.

by cutting the front radiator support would that not change the whole structural integrity of the car?

most V setups I have seen run it horizontal to engine bay or at a slight angle not vertical,,,,,

your running a Mid mount or (high mount) IC setup NOT a vmount. i run this setup as well but not the configuration like you have.. start from one end of the spectrum and work your way to the other side... boost leaks spark fuel etc etc
