Hello, i installed an S14 sr20, the motor was in a running 97 but now its in my 95...i hear that the wiring is the same so i dont suspect that the wiring is bad. the motor cranks but the fuel pump wont prime with the key in the on position and it seems like the ECU isnt getting power, the relays under the left side of the dash kick on however when the key is cycled. i have been workin on it for a few days now and im totaly stumped!!! If any one can help me out over the phone on here or come by the help would be greatly appreciated...

if it helps its a Red WC computer...

All I can think of is the relay fuse under the hood for the fuel pump or the fuel pump got shorted out by the swap maybe.

thats what i was thinking, but i had the factory fuel pump in when i was trying to start it, so after that i threw in the walbro and still no power...you think i might have fried the ecu...?

A lot of people seem to have the same prob with the ecu when an sr swap is done.

Im thinking that you either have to tune the ecu to the specs of the sr or get a new ecu specified for that engine.

open the cover of the ecu and check for a burnt circuit..if burnt solder new..if not then its a relay or the wiring has been altered in some way between ur swapping..if u have the specs on what wire is what then trace it starting at the ecu(if good)...get a voltage meter and check wires:

FUEL PUMP RELAY..SR BLACK/PINK..KA BLACK/PINKECU RELAY...SR RED/BLACK STRIPE..KA RED BLACK STRIPEECU POWER...SR BLACK WHITE STRIPE..KA BLACK WHITE STRIPEECU BACKUP POWER..SR RED...KA RED I fried 2 ecu's before i reliazed that mass air wires where touching..it would crank but the fuel pump wouldnt prime..check the ecu..if its burnt check or naked wires before fixing it cause if it blew once it'll blow again
