WEll my s14 sr runs good now, but every now and then it will just rev

funny. It usually does it after it idles for a few minutes. It idles fine but if i

give it gas to move it, the rpms go from 2000 to 1500 even if its floored.

but if i cut the car off and let it sit for a minute or two and crank it back up,

it runs fine again. Any ideas?
