i belive i read somewhere that the S14 AC will bolt up to the S14 SRonly two brackets tho.

I was trying to line it up to two bolt holes but a bracket that extends from the power steering pump gets in my way?

on the KA block the Bracket is further forward on the power steering pump.. allowing the AC pump to bolt up.

how do i get around this?do i have to make a bracket?if so how?

ill try to get pics up of this extending bracket tomorrow

thanks

I was under the impression you needed the SR A/C compressor for this to work.

I'm still in the works of this myself, can't get that damn receiver dryer off so I can replace it so I'm sort of stuck .

I did read somewhere that two bolts line up.

or maybe it was the S14 SR into S13 chassis that that applies to.

i have my SR compressor but don't know how to attach the lines to my car.

I can work with the SR Compressor.

You need a set of equipment:KA linesSR linesSR condensorSR compresserKA receiver dryer (new)

and a shop who is willing to cut and weld the SR lines to the KA lines.

---

You need to mate the KA line to the head of the SR line so that it will match with the SR compressor but still come from the KA firewall connection. (driver side) This will require some welding from a shop willing to weld aluminum A/C lines.

So now you have a line that froms the KA driver side firewall, welded to an SR head, which bolts to the compressor, which then runs SR lines to the condensor, and I believe you can use the KA line back from the condensor to the KA firewall.

Replace the receiver dryer part with a new one.

The wiring part...

this is a quote from RAMIUS from an old thread of mine:

Remove your passenger side kickpanel and ECU and pull it to the side. You will now see the main M63 plug. Unplug it and swing it to the side. Now, there are two 10mm bolts holding that male version of the M63 plug onto the body. Unbolt them and pull that plug out towards you so you can see the back side of it, the wire colors. Now, you will need to find the Yellow/Black wire and the Black/Purple wires. Now, cut both wires about 1 inch or so away from the plug. Now, connect both of those wires together that do NOT go into the plug, in other words, connect the Yellow/Black and Black/Purple wire together that go back into the harness, not the plug.

Now, make sure that your compressor is plugged in. There should be a single wire plug around your compressor. Plug it in. Make sure your A/C fuse and relay are both good.

Change your A/C drier since it probably has exceeded its maximum water/crap absorption levels and will create a restriction in the A/C system. Evac/vacuum/recharge your A/C lines to 1.43lbs of R-134a refrigerant.

Now, your A/C will work with the push of the A/C button on your A/C control unit.

---

Hopefully, this will help you. I'm working on my system tomorrow so if I find anything useful or anything I posted in error I'll be back.

omg..

why cant i just make a bracket and make it work

wiring?im so fed up with wireing at this point(having to wire N/A S14 SR to S14 chassis currently)

so.. ill let that pass.

couldn't i just create a bracketand use my KA compressor?

and find a belt to fit it?

Since im getting the Idea the KA compressor will not bolt up to the S14 SR Block with 2 bolts holes.

.. and yep more questions.

if i want to get rid of my ac compressor..what do i do? cut the line? that goes to the compressor.cuz its just currently sitting in my engine bay.. not doing anything.

if i do this will i still have heat?

i know thats a ton a questions

but thanks!

Codyace has alot of nico people waiting on his coustom brackets that allow you to mate the KA compressor to the SR. So you can eather be hot for now like me and others or have a shop weld the ac lines to make the SR compressor work. It hit 100 here in florida and it is very humid so it feels hotter! These are not tears--> It swet pouring down my face!

Un bolt the compressor and tape the line's up so dirt dont get in the lines.Heat has nothing to do with A/C, so it will still work.
