Here is something cool that I found, gives you an idea of how these two engines handle against each other. Don't worry about the BS replies, just read the story.

cool.. but still, theres too many variables.. :/

with the ka-t, you choose what turbo you wanna use, what intercooler you're gonna use, fuel system, intake etc etc.. the results can vary so much... you also had a t4, id imagine with a t3/t4 you'd be winning the 0-60.. it should be the opposite, the ka-t on the low end, and sr on the top end... in the end, everyones ka-t's are probably gonna have different results.

regardless, good kill :)

it sounds like you think this is me, it wasn't I just found this somewhere..just to be clear. Also his mods are listed so that variable thing doesn't matter. It shows what it can do with his setup, looked like an Nsport kit to me.

too many variables? you have the same options with the SR as you do with the KA.

while the setups on these two cars aren't exactly equal, if you compare any KAT dyno to an SR dyno you'll see that the KA usually starts boosting sooner and has a much broader powerband (usually all the way to redline). the SR on the other hand may produce a higher peak power, but only for a short period of time before it falls off. the results? unless the SR is making some very significant difference in hp, the KA will always pull away from it in the end.
