I'm currently swapping an early S14 SR20DET into a 95 240SX SE. For those who are familiar with this swap, and decided to retain A/C, which compressor and belt are you using? I'm going to be using the KA compressor and my swap did not include the SR compressor. So far it looks like it bolts up but I haven't actually test fitted because I have not disconnected it from the system in the car. Any input would be great. Thanks.

If its the same as the s13 KA compressor it fits. Only two of the bolts line up, but its works/fits just fine. The standard SR AC belt will work :)

ARe you 100% sure about that? I'm having trouble with my A/C and this might be a solution that doesn't require getting parts from Japan. Are the part numbers the same or are there any caveats or side effects?

Well, the S14 and S13 blocks are pretty much identicle. As long as the iron accecory plate that the AC compressor bolts onto is the same, I dont see why it would be any different. Tons of people use the KA compressor and I havent heard of any problems yet.

mine didn't fit well, and the pulley didn't line up. i used the S15 AC pump. (S14/S15 are the same block) then used the JDM AC lines and had the USDM ends welded on so i could use the USDM condensor as mine was smashed up on the clip.
