Just had an S14 SR swapped in.

Problem 1)- The car just does not pull. Has a flywheel, Exedy Stage 2 clutch, turbo elbow, down-pipe, testpipe, HKS Hi-Power. Feels like a 1.6L Civic. Running 9-10 PSI, confirmed by a gauge.

***Problem 2)***- Car misfires under load after 5500 RPM. New NGK Iridiums with .03 gap, checked:- the coil-packs with known good ones - ignitor- TPS- CAS- timing -------Everything is checking out.

Please help. I have no idea what the problem is. I should be getting the car back tommorow. I'll refill with 92 and throw some octane booster in it for the mean time.

Problem 2) Might be BOV, What BOV you have and where is vented to?Istall the CAS the right way to be sure and post results.

Stock recirculated BOV on the stock SMIC.

why'd you even have 87 in your tank to begin with? think i'd been using 93 about 90% of the time i've had the KA.

I overestimated the amount of fuel the KA would use on the two-hour drive to New Jersey. I don't see why the KA would even need premium.

My problem turned out to be my injectors.

Shop took a closer look at them and they are 550 CC injectors out of a Twin-Turbo RX-7. Ran them with no tuning, hence the bad acceleration.
