s14 sr into s13, auto to manual, how to wire up the reverse lights

does anyone have any idea's on how to wire up the reverse lights. do i run power to the reverse sensor or negative. and like do i need a relay or anything or should i go off the ignition instead of a relay i have no clue help me out
