s14 SR into my 97

hey guys i'm sure someone ask this before..but i can't seem to find some exact answer to it.here it is...i'm droping a s14 sr20det into my 1997 240. i see alot of page and site about the swap but seems like all of them are for s13 into s13 or s14 into s13. my question is with my case s14 into s14 how is the wiring ? is it much easier or i have to follow the same wiring setup? i know the swap itself is the same ..just want to confirm on the wiring for s14 into a s14. any help is appreciated.thanks

The wiring is a little harder than s13 into s13. Do you have A/C, or ABS. If you do, espically ABS, then your wiring will be hell. The pinouts for the s13 swaps are different, get a FSM for your motor and one for your car, And search this site, there are tons of old forums that will help you with this.

zilvia.net has the s14 SR FSM, i have hte USDM FSM in acrobat format. email me if u want either of em, or both, in case u dont have broadband (they're big files)

yeah..you can use some of the pinout info for the S14->s13...but you need to know where to hook it on the S14.i did my s15->s14 pretty much on my own with both FSMs
