I have a S14 SR in my s13. the motor was originally auto and was converted to 5spd. It has 5spd ECU but it idle's funny. when i start it up it idle's at 1500rpms. then as soon as the engine is warm the idle will change to 1200rpms and then jumps back up to 1500rpms slowly. (No this SR does not have aftermarket cams). I think it might be the TPS sensor sense it has 2 plugs meaning its not 3pin.

if i get this part from phase2motorsports, will it fix my idle issue?http://phase2motorsports.store....html

as you can see the top plug is brown and then theres a bottom plug which is grey

Did you ever find out what it was? I have the same problem, except it's misfiring

You should try cleaning out your IACV, seems like it might be dirty.

i had my friend do the swap and he replace the IVAC and it kept still idle funny. maybe the gasket is bad. we also spray crab cleaner on my intake manifold for like 1hr to find there was a leak but there wasn't.

i have the same swap and mine is doing similar things. . including hesitation/stumbling...at 2k - 3k under load. i would keep checkin for vacuum leaks and boost leaks cause that seams to be the general consensus to the main reason these thing would happen.

I redid my timing, it's not spot on and there is no more idling problems or anything
