S14 Sr+FMIC=12.8

well a friend of mines has a 97 silver moss 240sx with a S14 SR20DET in it he has a FMIC, intake,boost controller and Exhaust

he runs consistant 12.8's with a open diff and crappy tires on 18 psi

Is this normal

Well it's not normal to run 18psi on the stock S14 SR turbo. If he keeps that up, he'll only be running 12's for a couple months...

Thats too much boost for stock fuel pump too!

or do u mean 18 psi on the tires...?

Yeah, I think he means 18 psi in the tires because he's got no diff. This makes two accounts I've heard of an SR with minimal BPUs running in the 12s.

i have an s13 and i ran 14psi and a 12.89

that was welded diff tho... and that cars long gone

S14 SR came with the T28.

18psi is still more than what the recommended boost level is though...

well so far only problem he has had is with the transmission. anybody know iff the Sr should be puttin out this much

welded diff... for drag yes, for driving no... it was hard to park teh car... and in rain it didnt turn good

its good if u dont mind that tho. Its fun doin burnouts and stuff.
