i have been racking my brain for the last 4 days trying to figure this **** out. i have an s14 sr and harness going into a base model 5 spd s14. my problem is i cannot locate this mythical dash connector on either harness. the only thing that has an orange wire is the connector to the main harness(or is that the dash harness on an s14). where the f is this damned connector, i don't have anything running out of the end of the ecu connector on either harness, and my ka harness has never been removed.

this is the only connector that resembles the dash harness connector in the picture only has 8 total wires, zero orange wires, and connected to a harness running down the pasenger side rail of the car. im confused as ****, hopefully someone here can help me out.

on a plus side, i am gonna be nomex braiding my harness when i figure out what the hell is going on with it and get it all cleaned up

The "dash" harness they are talking about is located behind the passenger's side right kick panel. If you have removed the kick panel and the ECU, you can look back into the far right hand corner against the firewall and frame. You will see a 3-4 inch long plug with 15+ wires on it. Trust us, it is there.

BTW, if you have the S14 240sx FSM (factory service manual), it tells you EXACTLY where the M63 (dash harness plug) is located.

Ok, the M63 and F4 dash plugs on both the KA harness and the SR20 harness are VERY easy to locate. The M63 plug on the KA harness and the F4 plug on the SR20 harness are BOTH located next to the main ECU harness plug that plugs into the ECU. They are both a white plug with a black backing on it protecting the wires.

That little plug is part of the harness that runs to the fuel pump.

BTW: Good for future use when running a fuel cut switch.

Do you have a camera that you can take a few pictures of everything you have there? I am going back into my mind and when I did my brother's SR20 swap on his S14. The only re-wiring we did was with the main F4/M63 plug. I am not really understanding what plug/harness you are talking about. If I remember correctly, there was an actual fuel pump relay near the ECU, and one/two other relays, main ECU plug, and the F4/M63 plug. I don't really remember there being another one.

i think my phone is messing up, but basicaly the conector on my ka harness is an 8 pin, single row connector. looking at it from the top the wire colors are yellow, black, gray, green/red, lt green/red, yellow/green, green, brown. i will look at where the wires go tomorrow, as i cannot get to my car until then
