S14 Speed Sensor Harness

So i have been searching and after checking about 20 different related posts i have no answer.

I Have a 1995 240 with blacktop sr20det with transmission out of a s13.

I understand that i need the s14 speed sensor so i have bought that from nissan.

I currently have the s13 speed sensor in there with the pigtail out the back of it which connects to my harness.

The harness only comes about halfway to the speed sensor and the s14 black plastic speed sensor has a input for a 2 pronged connector.

DO i need to change the whole harness to make it work? Can i just sauder an extension??? is there a specific extension that i need?

Im trying to sell my car and really need to get the speedomoeter working so if you know the answer to my question any help is appreciated

the s13 sensor sends twice the signal your s14 sensor will, effectively doubling the speed readout, so you will need to use the s14 sensor. from what i understand the s13 lower harness should work fine but you will need to wire in that s14 sensor, there is no "sensor extension" that i know of that you can buy.
