S14 Speed Limiter

I need to remove the speed limiter. I don't want to lose the Tack or the Speedo. At 15 lbs of boost the 110 comes fast and frequent. It's killing me on the highway. Camaro's, Vette's and Mustangs have no limiter, atleast not until 140. So I end up looking like a bitc*...not happening.

Who's got the answers? I'll be eternally greatful.

Cut the speed wire (it goes to the dash first, then the ECU...so the speedo still works)...and unplug the 5th gear switch.

ECU cuts it at ~116 or so...then the backup is a 5000rpm rev limit in 5th. But with no 5th sensor plugged in, the ECU shouldn't cut it...

I have never done it myself, but have had firends who say it works (they'll put a switch on one of the 5th gear switch wires, so they can cut it "as needed").

I'll have the car up in the air again next weekend, possibly this week in the garage. Which sensor is the fifth gear sensor anyway???
