I might be able to get my hands on an S14 that "supposedly" has a Skyline front-end conversion (R33 I assume?) I haven't seen it yet, and I won't know if I can get it or not until Weds...but I was wonderin if anyone on here had any pics or knew where I could see what it would look like...Of course, if I did get this car, I'd have to do an RB swap :D

HOld On how in the world did you find a S14 with a Skyline front end??? That kinda sound too good to be true! For $4000 or less. Since that is what I think you want to spend on a car!

I would use X-ray Vison when you check the car out. Have some of your Nissan Friends that know about body and engine to come along with you to check the car out!

R33 front end is a semi-common conversion for them. Looks pretty good, but not too different from stock.

aye lad!

get the attessa on thar and it be somethin' however! yar har!

still cool looking. I personally prefer the Kouki S14 out of any S14 or goofy conversion however.

S13's hold a place in my heart just cuz I dig popups though the silvia front is pretty damn sweet lookin'...

Here is a thought.....

Skyline front end stays on Skyline......

240 front end stays on 240.......

But good luck with whatever.

By that thinking...

Silvia engine stays in the Silvia.

240 engine stays in the 240.

You're making a lot of bandwagoners feel bad.

So be it. Not like I am one of the bandwagoners......

But fine, fine. I dont know why I post about this stuff anyway, not like I have any say in her decision to buy this car, or peoples decisions to try and turn their car into something its not.

I guess I am just pissed at seeing civics w/ the 'r33 skyline conversion' and 'silvia front.'

To each his own.

Damn, it's a 96 and it's gonna be one helluva a deal...would YOU turn it down? I could always get the original front-end back, I mean looks only mean so much to me at this point. The less $$ I have to put in to cosmetics, the better!

It was in reference to my black hatch, which was about to suffer that fate this morning;)

In all honesty, I really hope that S14 is in good shape and that you get it. You'll have fun.

Because it doesn't run, and the homeowners association seems that have a thing against nissans...Both my 240's got tagged, as did a few other nissans around me. Coincidence? I don't think so.

I'd be willing to bet this is the case. If you ever cruise Ebay you'll see LOADS of "skyline" conversions for 240's. They are a joke. It's just a cheap fiberglass bumper cover that kind of resembles a skyline. It doesn't include fenders, hood, lights, grill.... or anything that would truly make it a "conversion".

If it was truly a skyline front end... you better post some pics because that would be cool. Although... I seriously doubt anyone would be selling such a vehicle at any sort of reasonable price. It would be rare and worth a lot as a result.

To the enthusiast it would. To everyone else...sorry but no. Remember, anything that takes your car from stock form actually detracts from its value.

Yeah no kidding.... but the only reason someone with enough money to build a car like that would sell it, is if they got sick of it. And, since they obviously have enough money to spend frivolously on body conversions, it's doubtful that they will need to sell it right away to the first person who comes along. They'll hang on to it until the right buyer comes along and offers them what they want for it.

OK, 1 - it is a complete conversaion from what i have been told - hood, fenders, grill, and headlights. And 2, it's an old dude who thinks it drinks up too much gas, and he wants a Honda instead. He wants to trade my friend for his, then my friend will sell it to me for cheap...the dude isn't really a 240 enthusiast (obviously, if he wants a Honda)If it all works out, I will definitely post pics.
