S14 Side Bumper Lights... Always On???

I saw a thread before about this and tried searching but I can't find it. Anyway I'm about to buy all new bulbs for the front and was wondering if the side markers are always on with the parking/head lights?... Or do they come on and blink/stay on with the turn signals only? I have my 240 parked for the winter about 2hrs away from my house otherwise I'd check myself.
