For those who've installed S14 front seats in the S13: Do they feel and look better? I was thinking of doing this to rid myself of the old seats. Anything special need to be done about the seatbelts? Pictures would be appreciated also. I have actually never been in an S14 and don't know much about the seat that came with them.

yes, S14 seats are way better than S13 ones, they hold much better and everyone that has been in my car since immediatly notices the improvement. try and get the S14 belts too because the automatic ones are just retarded.

s14 seats rock compared to s13. I've been enjoying mine. They are definitely worth it compared to getting racing seats or something, they bolt right up. Here's my before and after:

Do the grey S14 seats come without that gaudy design on the coushins?

Don't know, but it doesn't matter when you're sitting in it. :-)

Yes, not all S14 seats have the awful design on them. And auto seatbelts rock.

Wow, thanks for the detailed responces. Thanks.

I am not too worried about the ugly designs either, although I do agree they are ugly, they sure as hell look better than the ones I got. I had them reupholstered by some old guy who supposedly had a good rep doing interiors. Yeah right. I would have gladly put the $200 towards some S14 seats than the redone ones I got now.

I want leathers.. do the rear seats bolt in just fine too? because leather front seats and cloth rear seats is lame, if it comes down to it though I ll just yank the back seats, who needs em ... I sure as hell dont sit back there ;)

My driver seat has a rip on the side and the bottom stiching came loose, but they are nice seats....in the winter. Summer sucks with black leather....screw leather.

I like leather, I want to get a nice tan leather interior... I just have to figure out what Im going to do for hte dash and stuff... I plan to paint my car a nice deep blue, and the interior tan.. but I dont want that barf brown that came in the early white and silver coupes..

So I dont know exactly what Ill do for interior. One thing I was wondering is... if I get a blue dash for example to replace my cracked HUD equiped one, can I just swap in the digi dash, and cut a hole for the HUD unit?

i was thinking of a CF dash, which is really simple to make but i don't know if the sun would reflect off of it and get annoying or what.

S14 seats are definitely a better upgrade. I got my front and back seats from a 96SE for $200 total.

The fronts are a direct bolt-on job.

The rears require some modification (which includes 2 L-shaped brackets).

Also, I converted to S14 seatbelts (I suggest buying the seats and belts at the same time so you can do it all at once). Got these for $100.

I installed an s14 drivers seat this weekend but could not get one of the bolts in the front seat to line up.
