S14 Seat interchangeablity - UPGRADE

Not many discussions on the topic but I'm wondering who of you have removed the old front seats in you S14 and upgraded to another style? Seat rails and floor board configuration could be a problem if NON -Nissan seats were used (example - all power seats out of a GTO). Have any of you used 350Z or G35 seats? How did you overcome problems and what do you recommend and why. Thank you!

R32 GTR seats and S15 seats are a direct bolt on (not to mention s13 seat ).

also, theres a write-up here somewhere for 350z seats to be modified to fit the s-chassis.
