yes they are the same, most parts on the engines are, with very little and insignifigant difference.. i recently swapped a s14 engine in my s13 and was amazed at how often ppl are wrong about parts not working from one engine to another...hope this helps

i just put a s13 oil pan on an s14 and it bolted up fine, but the s14 old oil pan was bent and wouldn't go on the s13, so i think it was because it was bent
