Hello,
To start off im new to the club and just bought my first 240sx about 4 months go. I have a 1995 s14 with a redtop sr20 swap in it.

The problem:
When i bought the car it started up each time just fine, but after this last time i started it up i noticed the left blinker was on high beams and wouldnt turn off. It started up just fine and i reved it a little after that in which it started chugging like it wanted to die at idle. Two weeks later i go to start up the car and im not geting a crank or even a clicking to the starter. I checked several things like if the power was getting to the starter, hitting the starter with a hammer, checking different wires on the harness. I noticed that the clutch switch that clutch hits when engaging was never hooked up also. The battery is a newer battery also but i dont know where to even start looking or what i should look for, if anyone can help or give some insight please!!!!!!!

Do the lights and other electrical items work?

What do you mean by "the left blinker was on high beams"?

I'd start by checking fuses.

Yeah the other things work, the left blinker is on high beam mode and it wouldn't turn off. I had one fuse that I found blown so im replacing that while getting starter check and what not.

I still have no idea what you mean by "left blinker on high beam mode".

Blinkers only have 2 modes... on and off. They should switch between the 2 accordingly when they are activated, and stay off when not activated. I suppose if there was a short or something, the bulb could stay on the whole time, but it still wouldn't be a "high beam".
