s14 rear end on s13

hey everybody, i'm getting a 5 lug conversion for my s13 of a SE s14 from the junkyard and the only way to get the rear hubs is to get the whole rear end. i was just wondering if it would bolt up to my s13 'cause i wanted to get rid of my hicas anyway. oh yeah, I was told all the s14 SE's had a lsd is that true? thanks in advance

Hicas cars do have stock VLSD. I believe only abs 5-lug S14s had VLSD. Yes it will bolt in but you have to switch rear covers.

Not all S14 SE had vsld. Only the ones that came with the ABS VSLD package did. If it was ABS then it has VSLD. So look at the pumpkin and if it has a orange sticker on it it has VSLD.

i did look for the sticker but it could have fallen off, i'll be able to check it when i take it all apart . will the whole rear end bolt up to my s13 though? struts, suspension and all? i think that would be the easiest way to get rid of the hicas, right?

so any thoughts on wether i can bolt the whole rear end up or not? I'm pretty sure the 5 lug conversion is worth the $$$ but it would be nice to get rid of hicas too.

if you have hicas on your s13 rear end, you should already have a LSD no?

Also, I belieive the s13 and s14 are pretty much the same.

from my understanding almost no us s13's had an lsd. and it sure as hell doesn't feel like i have a lsd maybey its worn out,but the s13 had a vlsd and those don't really wear out do they? since it's using the differential oil to work, i'm still new to 240's so i don't rally know i'm still just learning? anybody else have a say on wether the rear end will bolt up?
